It has been said that one of the smartest things we can do is get back to our roots, which is often another way of saying "get back to the basics." Going back to my roots has consistently proven itself over the years as a viable way to get back on track.
Life has a tendency to take a person on a winding path, at times branching here and forking there. Whenever I get off the track or fall of the branch my highest priority has always been to go back to the baseline.
My first career was in radio broadcasting. Being paid to play music and talk on the radio was my dream job in 1974. Years later, talking about the weather and sports scores behind the microphone morphed into me speaking in front of groups of people and talking about attitude and leadership.
With technology today what it is, and with a little bit of creativity, I am back in the radio business. Life is amazing–especially to see how it can go full circle. Now I can take my message to the world now with Internet radio.
My goal is to reach out each week to as many as I can, as I share my heart and mind with people all over the world. With that thought in mind, I have started recording brief motivational podcasts to brighten your day. They're usually just a minute or two long and meant to be a little attitude pick-me-up along life's journey.
I have a favor to ask you. Let me know what you think of the podcasts, and if you like them, would you please share this blog post with your boss, co-workers, friends, and family to let them give a listen, too? Thanks in advance!
