Have you ever been a little fuzzy in your thinking? Things just not as clear as they should be? Not sure just what to do? This happens to all of us from time to time.
When I recognize this is the case, there are a number of things I immediately set out to do to restore clarity to my thinking!
Seek Wisdom: Seeking wisdom and council from others and listening to their perspective really helps.
Seek Solace: Getting off by myself to reflect and plan and analyze my current situation helps greatly.
Seek Hot Shower: Sometimes I will go take a hot shower and let the water just pound on my head and neck. (I find I do my best thinking in the shower. What can I say?)
Seek Laughter: Often just hanging around “little” people really helps. Children make me laugh and fill my heart with joy. Kids see life so differently than we adults. I always have clarity of mind after those encounters!
Seek Paper & Pencil: When I really get all jumbled up in my thinking I reach for a pad of paper and a pencil. Scribbling down thoughts and attitudes flushes the log jams out of my head resulting in clarity of thought every time as it has never failed me.
It is almost certain that as I seek one or more of these keys, clarity in my thinking is restored.
Find clarity in your thinking and you will live a richer, fuller and happier life.
