Seeds of SUCCESS:
Love is in the Air!

Everywhere I look in my home these days, I notice Bride magazines. I have listened to a number of excited discussions about bridesmaid dresses and the wedding gown. I have had input into how the cake might be baked. The list could go on and on. I have also noted that this wedding stuff is extra mushy now that we are in the month of love. It seems everybody is so romantic all the time in my home. Yes, love is in the air!

In case you didn't know, our only daughter, Tasha, is getting married later this year. Tasha is known for her smiling face, and now it seems she is smiling non-stop. She is just so happy! Dad, here is still just trying to get used to the whole thing. I am sure I will be able to go through with this process and I am managing to keep my attitude as positive as I possibly can because love is in the air!

My wife, Vicki, and I are entering a new season of our life together now, and this is causing all kinds of interesting conversations, as we've reflected back over our last 25 years together–the good, the bad, and even some of the ugly–and there's no doubt here–love is in the air!

Sheba, my dog, (and the other girl in my life) seems to be needing more attention these days. She'd tell you that I have been just a tad bit busy for her liking. I do take her for a run along side the pickup whenever I can. That makes her happy. She even smiles while she runs. She gave me a great big kiss when I put her in the kennel tonight. I guess even Sheba knows love is in the air!

Thank you so much for allowing me to share this "mushy" column with you today. My prayer for you is that your home is full of love just like mine is. Pour out your love and I assure you that your blessings will be great. Do a check in your home tonight and just see if you find that love is in the air.
