Seeds of SUCCESS:
Achieving Your Goals

Everyone of us knows that it is one thing to set a goal and yet an entirely different thing to actually achieve or accomplish the goal. We often hear about how we ought to set goals, but in reality, what we really want is to accomplish our goals, dreams, and desires; isn't that right? It is a fact that once we set out to accomplish a goal, obstacles and roadblocks are going to get in our way, and that sometimes makes us feel like giving up. This is when we need to press on and persevere to achieve the goal. Many people quit way too soon and fail to enjoy the fruit of their labors.

Recently we started a family project. At first everybody was pretty excited about our goal-to build a "refreshment" stand. We began encountering obstacles almost immediately, and it wasn't long until frustration set in over the wide variety of issues needing to be dealt with, such as licensing, water, ice, suppliers, money, customer needs and wants, etc. It is just a bit overwhelming. It's neat to see how when one of us gets discouraged, one of the other family members is there to pick the rest of us up and remind us of our goal and mission. We have always wanted to refresh people with quality information and ideas like you are reading here; now we can offer rootbeer floats, ice cream, fudge bars, ice cold lemonade and ice cold bottled water, etc. as refreshment, too. By working together, encouraging each other, and overcoming the obstacles we have achieved the goal-Kountry Kones is now open on the south side of Wessington. Come and get refreshed. And remember we have free ice cream on your birthday, daily specials, new items added to our menu each week. Accomplishing a goal-HOW REFRESHING!!!
