Do you struggle with fear in your life? Do you want to be free from the fears that plague you? If you are like most people, the answer to these questions is a resounding YES! But beyond that, most people don't really know how to get rid of fear in their lives. In order to ever be able to overcome fearto really face your fearsyou must understand what it is. Fear is a negative emotion having tremendous control over us, that can range from experiencing apprehension, to being overyly anxious, to feeling down-right terrified of someone or something. The truth about a lot of our fears is that they very rarely come true. Simply put, fear is very often:

In order to truly face your fear, you must get intimate with itreally get to know it. Identify the basis of your fear; is it based on the truth, a lie, a feeling, or a past experience? Then remind yourself that fear is causing your mind to work in reverse, so the sooner you can get your mind moving in a more forward (that is positive ) direction, the better. Be willing to take a riskface your fear by hitting it head-on. For instance, if you are afraid to speak in front of people, than look for opportunities to get up in front of ohters. The next time someone asks you to address a group, say you will, instead of just making excuses. Sure it will be tough, but remember that your benefit will be greater confidence and personal growth. Every time you face your fear, your fear level decreased, until it is no longer a thing that you fear. It's true
