From the Desk of Bob
The sun is coming up this morning and the sky is glorious in color. The sky is ablaze in orange and red and blue and it is simply breathtaking. What a way to start a day! It is really quite motivating.
I have been up this morning since 5 a.m. getting my head on straight for a new day. In fact, I have been getting up early for the last several months to get more out of my day. I also take a short nap in the middle of the afternoon whenever I can.
I know that in order to maximize my life I must be thinking correctly and clearly about everything. I really want to think clearly because there are so many decisions to make on a daily basis.
I want to have the right kinds of attitudes as I have no idea what I may encounter today. Literally I want to be prepared for anything.
Allow me to encourage you to find creative an innovative ways to maximize your life.
Here's to getting the most out of life! Bob

Seeds of Success: It's Okay to Fail
By Robert A. Prentice
Being able to honestly admit failure is never easy and yet-like it or not-failure is a part of life we all must accept. For me, I can look back to a time almost 25 years ago, that was literally a turning point for me in this area. Actually I must give credit to my dear wife who helped me to realize that success often comes from failure. Up to that point, I had been in the habit of referring to my failing as an 'education' or a 'learning experience' - which it was - but I could not bring myself to admit failure.
Back all those years ago, I failed a college computer course. At the time it seemed the only thing I gained from that particular class was a major hatred for computers, and yet today I would say I have successfully learned to use a computer. In fact, I actually appreciate computers so much that I could not imagine my life without one.
It is also a fact that I have experienced failure in business, having once started a business that did not go at all as I had anticipated and nearly bankrupted me. I know I have failed many times to live up to even my own expectations as both a husband and a father. In spite of letting myself and my family down many times, I am still able to say that I have successfully navigated through 31 years of marriage and almost 29 years of parenting.
How can it be that I have failed in so many ways, and yet dare to call myself a success? I believe the answer, at least in part, is that whenever I have failed, I have made the choice to change my attitude rather than stay stuck in the muck of my failure. I know that wallowing in failure will never bring me success.
Furthermore, I believe that success is failure, turned inside out; in other words, success comes from failure. Only one thing can start us on the road to changing failure into success, and that is a major shift in ATTITUDE! This is not always a simple process and can be painful, but what have you got to lose? Stop for a moment and do a check up from the neck up.
Jot down your answers to these questions:
What is my attitude towards this failure? Do I have an attitude for success? What kind of attitude changes do I need to make now so I can achieve success? Am I willing to make the changes in attitude that success requires? What will I do to make sure I keep the right attitude?
Remind yourself that it is okay to fail. At the same time, make the decision to not live in the muck of failure. Choose, instead to have an attitude of success!
Then tell yourself often, "Success is and Attitude, and I have an Attitude for Success!"
On the Sunny Side of Life: Murphy's Laws
In a transistor circuit protected by a fuse, the transistor will always blow to protect the fuse.
The best way to see your boss is to access the Internet.
Or...
No matter how hard you work, the boss will only appear when you access the Internet.
The hard drive on your computer will only crash when it contains vital information that has not been backed up.
Computers don't make errors. What they do they do on purpose.
If Murphy's laws are so true then how come I can log onto this site and submi............

Each computer code has five bugs, and this number does not depend on how many bugs have been already found (it is conservative).
