Greetings!
Sunshine! Oh, how I love the shining of the sun. That great big ball of fire is warming me through and through. The reason I mention this is that I have traveled through two ground blizzards this past week and I must believe that spring is finally here. Enjoy this changing of the seasons. I know that I am.
Great news! Our daughter and son-in-law have brought us our latest grandchild this past week. Alexis Rae was born on April 9 and tipped the scales at 7 lbs. 1 oz. and is 19 1/2 inches long. She is healthy and beautiful, and we are all very happy that she is here.
Be challenged by this weeks MMM. Let it motivate you and encourage you. Take a nugget of truth that you find within and apply it to your life and watch what happens. I have only great expectations for you in your pursuit of personal and professional growth.
With enthusiasm! Bob

Seeds of Success: An "Attitude" Legacy
By Robert A. Prentice
There is nothing in this world more important to me than to let my children and grandchildren know that in this life "attitude is everything". This has become such a passion of mine, it has become the very basis for literally everything I do, and I hope it will be the same for my loved ones.
Here are some of the things I have learned that I want my children and grandchildren to know:
· Having the right kind of attitude through life's ups and downs is a vital key to having joy, peace and success.
· Every "negative" they encounter in life can be transformed into a "positive" with a little creativity and innovative thinking.
· Having a proper attitude when things aren't so positive will help them to recognize their wrong paradigms and mindsets and set about breaking those old destructive habits that hold them back and help them to begin healthy new habits.
· Character is primarily built through difficult circumstances.
· It requires a great deal of diligence to make it in this life.
· All things are possible through accountability and the attitudes of commitment and excellence.
· Failure is okay, because success comes from failure.
· No one is perfect and all that is required of them is that they always strive to do their best.
· All of us are going through a perfecting process-like gold being refined in the fire-and that the growth process hurts, but it's the only way to get to the good stuff.
There are lots more things I want my children and grandchildren to know- much more than I can share in just a few minutes. But I can tell you this: Being persistent in my quest to leave a powerful and a positive legacy gives me a reason to get up each day and is what helps me to live my life with purpose.
So, what is the legacy you hope to pass on? Are you living the legacy today? Are you allowing it to shape you into a better person today? Imagine the possibilities!
On the Sunny Side of Life
Watching our daughter, Tasha, now with three little ones of her own, I could not help but look back fondly to the time when she was a little girl and wonder where the time has gone.
Along with the birth of a new grandbaby, we also ended up with a very sick (actually dead) computer this past week, and I was reminded of a time many years ago, when Tasha was about four or five years old and she overheard Vicki and I talking about our "sick" computer that would have to be taken in for repair.
Having gone through a bout with the stomach flu, little Tasha thought she had the the solution for our computer. "Daddy," she innocently asked, "Why don't you just give the computer a throw-up bucket?"
