I have made a huge number of discoveries this last year about business, professional and personal development, and success in families and in our personal relationships. I intend to share these discoveries with each of you in the weeks and months ahead.
As you can tell we have been publishing MMM for several years now. It has been an incredible experience. We appreciate each one of our readers and we really enjoy the feedback we get from you.

Seeds of Success: Trust the Female Intuition!

You gals have something that we men do not have-or at least do not use like we could or should. The "female intuition" is truly a powerful and necessary resource.
Yes, we guys have what we often refer to as gut feelings, but we often more known for flying by the seat of our pants in our logical and conceptual decision-making. You ladies, though, have something that took me a long time to figure out. The female intuition is a wonderful gift only if it is listened to and heard by both men and women.
I've often told the story of how years ago I hired an individual to come to work for my company. It wasn't until after this guy ripped me off and stole a massive amount of money and merchandise from me, that my wife told me that she had never liked him and, in fact, had had a bad feeling about him the very time they were introduced. She also said, that she had brushed those feelings aside in her desire to be fair to the man, thinking that she had nothing to base her feelings on. Oh how I wish I'd have asked Vicki for her opinion of this guy before I hired him.
I wish I could say I learned from that incident, but it took me awhile before I finally got into the habit of enlisting my wife in the process of my decision-making and started consistently tapping into the power of the female intuition. I now utilize it not only for hiring people but steering my business, managing my businesses and operating a successful life. I can admit this without any kind of shame or being sheepish in any way.
Why then am I sharing this message again today? Well, I am once again in the hiring process in business and the first thing I caught myself saying to the people I have been interviewing with is that they will need to visit with my wife and daughters as part of the hiring process. Whew! I finally got it! In addition, I have talked with a number of other businessmen who could learn from this simple and basic human principle.
We men tend to rely solely on our logic, and in doing so, often neglect a terrific resource that is right there in front of us. My advice to you guys is to learn to tap into this thing called "female intuition" by getting input from the women in you life-your wife and daughters, your co-workers and employees, your female friends; you might even talk to your mom! When you need to make a decision, ask them what they think and how they feel and listen to what they have to say. Then be sure to thank them for sharing their thoughts and feelings.
And women, you also may need a little encouragement in the area of listening to your own intuition. Do not ignore your feelings or brush them off, without first taking the time to examine and explore the possible reasons behind your intuitions, to see if your feelings are valid.
The gift of female intuition is something we all can and should use more effectively, and as we do, our lives and businesses will flourish even more then we ever thought possible. So go ahead, and trust the female intuition. You'll be glad you did!
On the Sunny Side of Life
After a caller told the Humane Society in Battle Creek, Michigan, about two ducks trapped by the ice on a pond, shelter manager Mike Pearson rushed right over.
He inched his way out a considerable distance and, as onlookers stood by, gently gathered up the ducks and made his way back to safety.
Both of the wooden decoys were expected to survive.
