Seeds of Success: Radical Relationships

Imagine a place where there is love and acceptance. Now place yourself there for just a moment. There is nothing in the world that can compare to maintaining healthy and loving relationships. The benefits of healthy and loving relationships include a longer life, greater productivity, more fun, and exceptional peace and security.
Positive relationships with family, friends, and those people who come into our lives via our jobs and responsibilities are so precious. Nurturing these relationships and keeping them alive and vibrant does not happen by osmosis. It requires time and energy to "touch" people.
Being an encourager of others, I have found, is one of the best methods to developing these relationships. Everyone needs and craves for a little encouragement especially those with an empty bucket. Fill up someone's bucket today with a note of encouragement, a kind deed, a hug, a phone call anything to get us out of ourselves. Trust me it can get pretty yucky, pretty fast, if we are only focusing on ourselves. I know that I have the capabilities for this; in fact we all do. This is an important reminder for all of us.
Imagine now what would happen if each day for one year you reached out and blessed someone. Fortunately, the simple practice of giving returns back to us a hundred fold. Now that's what I call major relationship building or radical relationships.
Do not let the fear of what other people may think of you hold you back from being the best that you can be. Keep building those RADICAL RELATIONSHIPS!
Radical, Fanatical Friends
A friend should be
Radical
Fanatical
And most of all
Mathematical!
A friend should be radical-
They should love you
when you're unloveable,
Hug you when you're unhuggable,
And bear you when you're unbearable.
A friend should be fanatical-
They should cheer when the whole world boos,
Dance when you get good news,
And cry when you cry, too.
But most of all a friend should be mathematical-
They should multiply the joy,
Divide the sorrow,
Subtract the past,
And add to tomorrow,
Calculate the need deep in your heart,
And always be bigger
Than the sum of all their parts.
