I am not going to waste a lot of space here with a bunch of BLA BLA BLA. I would much rather you get to the meat of this edition. Check out those quotes today. WOW!
Some people live their lives in a daily pressure cooker. For those people, it is just a matter of time before the mess explodes all over the place. Our lesson today is one that teaches us to manage life in such a manner that it greatly minimizes the chance of a creating a yucky mess all over the place.
Share this with a friend. Pass it along to a co-worker. I am quite positive they will thank you for it later.
On another note, I want to remind you that there are 55 episodes on Prairie Beacon Radio on our website for your listening benefit. These powerful and life changing episodes that have been heard by hundreds of thousands of people all over the planet are found at www.prairiebeaconradio.com

Seeds of Success: Maximize Your Mondays
By Robert A. Prentice
Some people I know tend to slide into their week pretty slowly and don’t really start to pick up on their productivity until about Tuesday or Wednesday. They make it over “hump day” and breathe a sigh of relief, and by Thursday afternoon they are starting to wind down for the coming weekend. Then Friday, for all practical purposes, is not much different than Monday wasunproductive.
How do I know this? Well, to be honest with you, that is how I used to go through my weeks. I dreaded Mondays and looked forward to Fridays, and did as little as I could get by with in between. Obviously, that’s not the most effective way to get things done, nor is it the way to capture what good living is all about, and fortunately it didn’t take me to long to figure that out.
I now look forward to each new week and I try to make each day in it count. The best way I have found to make sure that happens is to “maximize my Monday” by jump-starting my week.
What do I mean by this? Well, considering the fact that you can’t be very effective if Monday shows up and the only goal or plan you have is just to get through the day, you need to think about Monday before Monday gets here.
I have found that the wisest strategy for living a productive and result-producing life is for me to plan ahead of time for Monday. Each week on Thursday, I look ahead to the next Monday and see what positive possibilities lie ahead, taking time to plan and schedule, thus building a solid foundation of effectiveness and productivity for the week ahead.
As I build my Monday, I think about the most result producing projects I could work on and I make a list. I think of activities to engage in that I know will bring me great satisfaction and joy to see them accomplished. I think about people I need to talk to and appointments I have to keep, and in hardly any time at all, I have pre-arranged a Monday that has laid a solid foundation for my week.
As we all know, having a solid foundation makes the rest of the work go much smoother. Not only that, but having a solid base allows you to build tall and wide. In other words, you can easily add to the plan as necessary. Greater success is the result when you maximize your Monday.
Maybe as you’re reading this, you realize that you are one of those people who have not looked forward to going to work on Mondays. Perhaps now that you realize there is a way to maximize your Mondays, and in turn, your entire week, you are determined to make a new habit. Go for it! Don’t let anything hold you back. Start planning for next Monday by Thursday of this week.
Always remember that Monday (and every other day, too) is a day of fresh starts and new beginnings, and it is never too late to start maximizing your Mondays. So even if you haven’t done any advance planning for today, why not take just a few moments right now to make your plan, in the best way you can, to maximize this Monday?
