I have been waking up every morning lately telling myself: THIS IS A GREAT DAY! It has, in some ways, become my personal theme. No matter what comes at me in my journey my response then is quite positive.

Seeds of Success: Changing Times

Just so you can see change for what it really is, I want you to take a minute to identify one change you have noticed in our world today. Okay, now identify a change in your community. Go on to identify a change in your own life. Would you say you were effective in dealing with those changes? It is important that we recognize change and learn how to deal with it.
We are living in radical and changing times, and it is up to us to choose whether we will resist the changes or roll with the tide and embrace the opportunities that come along with the changes. Keep in mind resistance often prevents great new ideas from being accepted and implemented. We so easily fall into comfort zones, and we are often so afraid of sticking our neck out. Take for example computer software and the constant updates, upgrades and all the costs involved. If I had not upgraded to better systems, software, and power over the years I would not be able to produce eighty percent of our publications within the time and budget constraints that are associated with them.
I am a firm believer in change, and the fact that we all need to shift our thinking in regards to change. We must all become “change pioneers” – each of us changing in our own lives on a daily basis, and encouraging others to do the same. A change pioneer focuses on the horizon and what is over the next ridge. A change pioneer is full of courage, hope, and perseveres to the end or BUST. A change pioneer does not merely cope with change but causes change.
Yes, these times are a changing and I have great expectations and anticipations for the future. No matter what life throws at me, or whatever surprises await me around the next corner, I have every confidence that I will be open and ready for it.
